Kindergarten Round-Up for students zoned for Fairview Elementary will be Monday, April 10th from 8:30-11:30

***Out-of-zone students need to register at their zoned school- If you are out-of-zone and would like to apply to be considered to attend FES, you must complete an OOZ request form and turn it in to FES between April 1-May 1- OOZ forms can be found in the Documents link Any requests after that time will have to be done through Anderson County Schools Central Office- If you aren't sure if you are zoned for FES or not, please call the school office

Tuesday, November 1- Community gathering at NMS front lawn- Dr. Parrott will do a short presentation at 7:00PM and take community questions after that. This is the same week as our Fall Carnival so I totally understand if you can't be there. No pressure. Mrs. Blakney and I will be there to welcome FES folks. 
Wednesday, November 2- All certified staff need to be in the library at 2:05-3:15-  Blakney, Wade, and Charles will be sharing information with staff.

Friday, November 4- FES Fall Carnival- All certified staff are expected to be at Fall Carnival- Chili Supper starts at 5:00-  Games 5:30-7:00, Basket Auction 7:15 in cafeteria- If you don't live far away and can stay to help clean up, that would be great! We will probably be cleaned up and out of the building by 8:30PM if we have a lot of people helping. 😊😉🙌
Tuesday, November 8- NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS OR STAFF!!!! (Except for custodians)
Friday, November 11- Veteran's Day Breakfast 8:15 (We are asking staff to sign up to bring food again this year)- Veteran's Walk- 9:00- Program- 9:15-  more info coming soon..... One thing I would like to add this year is for our students to shake the hands of our honored Veterans. After the program, we will have half our Veterans lined up on one side of the exit doors and half on the other side. We will dismiss one classroom at a time from the gym so your students can shake their hands on your way out. 
Friday, November 18- Midterms go home- Thanksgiving Lunch at FES- Lunch times will be adjusted on this day- 
                               Assembly- Qualifying students that sold 5 or more items will be recognized and given a homework pass- Their names will be put in a drawing for 10 T-Shirts to be given away during assembly
Wednesday. Nov. 23- Friday Nov. 25- NO SCHOOL- THANKSGIVING BREAK 
Monday- Dec. 5- Wednesday- Dec. 7-  Santa Shop
Friday, Dec. 9- Lunch/games with the principal for qualifying students that sold 20 or more items 
Thursday, Dec. 15- Christmas Program -Grade 3-5 -  6:30
Friday, Dec. 16- Assembly- Top seller recognition plus Prize Wheel during assembly (students that sold 15 or more items)- Mega Party (students that sold 10 or more items) 12:00-
Monday, Dec. 19- FULL DAY OF SCHOOL for staff and students
Tuesday, Dec. 20- "Abbreviated" day- BUSES DO NOT RUN- We will do our staff breakfast/gift exchange at 8:30AM- In the past, staff could leave around 10:30AM- We are hoping that is the case again this year....
