Just for Parents: TNReady Practice Questions Are Online Now-
Students in grades 3-5 will be taking an online test called TNReady beginning this year (this replaces the paper/pencil TCAP test):

ELA/Math will be assessed in two parts (One in February and one in April)
Social Studies will be assessed in two parts (One in Feb and one in April)
Science will be assessed in a TCAP-type test towards the end of April.

Parents have a new tool for helping their students get ready for TNReady, the new statewide annual assessment for English language arts and math. The Tennessee Department of Education has created an online tool just for parents, where they can work with their children on review practice questions (click on the right side to choose the content/grade level band to access the questions) and create mini quizzes. More sample questions for the new assessment, which replaces English and math TCAP tests, will be available in September.
